Ocean Knowledge
• Core water safety: Learning to navigate currents, rips, and impact zones
• Reading the ocean: Developing intuition for changing conditions and positioning yourself to catch waves
• Forecasting: Understanding wind, tides, swell, and buoy data

Etiquette & Line-Up Awareness
• Priority & rotation: Navigating the line-up safely and confidently
• Respecting the rules: Fostering a harmonious surfing environment

Technique & Form
• Fundamentals: Learning efficient paddling, taking off, and dropping into waves
• Improving flow: Developing smooth, controlled movement

Equipment
• Choosing the right board based off the conditions and your current abilities
• Safely handling and controlling your board

Sessions are typically held in Rockaway Beach, NY, with options to travel to nearby breaks. I offer video analysis as part of your surfing development, along with detailed written feedback delivered after each session.
